Czech films restored with help from abroad

The “Digital restoration of Czech film heritage“ project, approved by the European Economic Area (EEA) and Norway Grants in July 2014, is under way at the Czech Republic’s National Film Archive (NFA), which will receive more than 21 million Kč in total to restore and digitally transcribe more than a dozen Czech cinematographic works made between 1898 and 1977.
