The Silver Light Award

Rockefeller Visiting Archivist Fellowship
Designed to provide
both financial assistance and first-hand experience,
the AMIA/Rockefeller Visiting
Archivist Fellowship is awarded each year to a professional archivist
from the developing world interested in improving
their skills and knowledge through a program
at the Rockefeller Archive Center and attendance
at the AMIA Annual Conference.
YADA! Scholarships for Education in Fundraising
AudioVisual Preservation Solutions announced the Your Archive Deserves Advocacy! initiative (YADA!) in 2009 in an effort focused on promoting the people and stories behind archives as well as providing resources that support advocacy. AVPS is offering three annual awards to help offset the cost of attending Foundation Center training classes. 2012 Application may be found here.
The Maryann Gomes Award
The purpose of this award is to provide funding assistance for regional archivists to attend the Annual AMIA Conference. 2012 Application will be available soon.
The Carolyn Hauer International Fund
The Carolyn Hauer International Fund is a fund dedicated to promoting internationalism within the Association of Moving Image Archivists.
The James A. Lindner Award
The purpose of this award will be to recognize, encourage and financially assist researchers of merit who offer the greatest potential to further the technology needs of moving image archivists and AV preservation.
The Dan and Kathy Leab Award
Presented to honor the "unsung" work of moving image archivists, the Dan and Kathy Leab Award was central to AMIA's development as a professional organization. The Leab Award was presented from 1996-2009.
