The
Reel Thing XXV opens on Thursday, August 12th with a reception and
a 4K digital projection screening of the new digital restoration of
this classic David Lean film.
"A
Love Caught in the Fire of Revolution" ... the
winner of five Oscars, the film was banned in the Soviet Union. It
was finally shown in Russia in 1994.

The Reel Thing
presents a screening of the new digital restoration of the classic
Walt Disney animated film, presented with the original intermission.
One
of the most highly regarded of the Disney classics, a symphonic concert
with Leopold Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra, embellished
by Disney animation.
