Disney's Snow White (1937)
The Reel Thing XXII opens on Thursday, August 20th with a reception and the premiere screening of the digitally-restored Walt Disney's
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first full length animated feature film, and the first of the Disney animated classics. Snow White was also the first American film to have a soundtrack album released in conjunction with the film. The film received a special Academy Award® in 1939 consisting of one full-size Oscar® and seven dwarf Oscars, all presented to Walt Disney by Shirley Temple.

The Reel Thing presents the premiere of the digital restoration of Marilyn Monroe in "How to Marry a Millionaire,"

They're three beautiful models, looking for the man and the money of their dreams! Almost broke, they pool their funds to rent a posh Manhattan penthouse in which they plan to lure their victims. But the gold digger's plans suddenly go awry when two of them fall for men who appear to be poor! Trying to stop each other from marrying the wrong guy, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, and Lauren Bacall deliver the finest comedic performances of their careers. And they learn that a rich man is actually worthless- unless you're in love with him! Nominated for Best Costume in 1954..
