Preservation Week 2015: Introduction to Film Preservation with NYPL’s Reserve Film and Video Collection

Please join us for a presentation and screening from the New York Public Library’s Reserve Film and Video Collection. This session will explore the history of the collection, highlighting the scope and depth of the holdings, and aims to expand the public’s knowledge of the film preservation efforts underway at the New York Public Library. Illustrative examples of "before" and "after" preservation will complement this presentation of 16mm films.
