AMIA-L is an e-mail discussion list sponsored by the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA). It is intended to facilitate communication among AMIA members and professionals in related disciplines interested in issues relevant to the association, to archival issues involving all aspects of moving image materials and moving image archives, and to any related technologies or special interests of the profession. Appropriate postings from AMIA non-members are welcome, and subscription to AMIA-L is open to the public. Directions for Subscribing

The first and only line in the body of the Subscribe AMIA-L <your name> You will receive an automatic response and further instructions. 2. With AMIA-L's new Web interface, it is also possible to start the subscription process through your Web browser. Go to: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/amia-l.html Click on the link "Join or leave the list (or change settings)" and follow the instructions from there. AMIA-L Archives All postings made before November 16, 1999 are restricted, accessible only to AMIA-L subscribers. This AMIA-L-Classic archive can be searched at http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/amia-l-classic.html. To use this archive, you will have to follow a login procedure that will be presented to you when you try to do your first search. AMIA-L-Classic is a closed list. No messages can be posted there. It exists only to provide current AMIA-L subscribers access to the "old" AMIA-L archive messages. |
