The Association of Moving Image Archivists invites you to become a part of the community of archivists, scholars and concerned supporters of moving image preservation and access. Membership is open to any interested individual, institution, organization or corporation.

Annual membership dues are:

$75 individual
$50 student
$250 non-profit institutional
$500 for-profit institutional

Memberships are on annual basis. To join AMIA, please print, complete, and return the membership application form. Forms are also available from the AMIA Office:

Benefits of Membership
All Members receive the AMIA Newsletter, the semi-annual AMIA journal The Moving Image, the annual AMIA Membership Directory, other special mailings, invitations to all AMIA meetings and events, discounted registration fees for AMIA annual conferences, workshops and symposia, and the benefits of affiliation with the foremost international professional association for moving image archivists.

Individual Members are entitled to vote, hold elective office or appointive position, and participate in all AMIA activities. Any number of individuals from the same institution can join.

Institutional Members receive a link on the AMIA website, listing in the AMIA Directory, discount registration at the membership rate for two employees. In addition, each Institutional Membership also includes a single individual membership whereby a designated person from your institution will be allowed to vote, hold elective office, and participate in all AMIA committees.  The current contact for your institution will be the initial default representative but if you wish to assign the membership to another individual, please contact the AMIA office.
