Submissions
The AMIA Newsletter is published quarterly by the Association of Moving Image Archivists. It provides up-to-date information about the association and its activities, as well as news from archives and other organizations the field, including collection acquisitions, preservation and restoration projects, grants and awards, conferences and special events, and job announcements and personnel transitions. The newsletter also features regular columns and features, book reviews, and information about new technologies, publications and resources of interest to moving image archivists. The newsletter serves as an ongoing record of the current state of moving image preservation, and is a valuable resource for scholars, students, journalists and other individuals interested in the preservation of film and video.

The AMIA Newsletter welcomes news items from AMIA members and non-members. Please send submissions via email if possible. Word (or equivalent) attachments with the text copied into the body of the email are preferred. Photos are always welcome. Please send material to amia@amianet.org.

Subscriptions
Non-AMIA member subscriptions to the AMIA Newsletter are available to libraries at a cost of $50 per year. Subscribers are not listed in the annual AMIA Membership Directory. To become a subscriber to the Newsletter, please complete the appropriate sections of the AMIA Membership Application Form.

Non-AMIA members who wish to subscribe to the AMIA journal, The Moving Image, should contact the journal publishers, the University of Minnesota Press.

Purchase Back Issues
All back issues of the AMIA Newsletter are available for purchase. Copies are first available as "back issues" at the conclusion of the calendar membership year in which they are published. For example, the first issue published in 2000 (Winter 2000) does not become a "back issue" until the beginning of 2001. Current year issues are available by becoming an AMIA Member or Subscriber.

The cost of back issues is:
$5.00 per issue for current AMIA Members.
$10.00 per issue for non-members.
