Through its publications and resources, AMIA's goal is to serve its membership, the archival moving image community, and the public at large.

Publications include AMIA's journal The Moving Image, the quarterly AMIA Newsletter, the annual AMIA Membership Directory, as well as periodic News Briefs, and updates from the Board and Committees.

Sponsored by AMIA and the Library of Congress, MIC [Moving Image Collections] is a collaboration of organizations and individuals in moving image archives, information technology, and digital education.
